Father's Day Parables

If you had faith like to a grain of mustard seed, you might say to this mulberry tree: Be thou rooted up, and be thou transplanted into the sea - and it would obey you.
Luke 17:6

For, amen I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed,you shall say to this mountain: Remove from hence hither, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.
Matthew 17:19

We must not think that Christ wishes us to have but small faith. Instead Rabbi teaches us that, as a mustard seed, if our faith is sown, tended and coaxed from it's first form, smaller and more humble than the other seeds, that our faith will grow and flourish into a magnificent and useful tree, as like to the Kingdom of Heaven - just as He further alludes to in Scripture.
